2018/2019 backlog of newly qualified trained teachers appointment letters have been released- GES

The management of the Ghana Education Service has officially released the appointment letters of the backlog of the 2018/2019 batch of newly qualified trained teachers who for one reason or the other were not posted by GES

This is according to the leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) has come as good news to all the above-mentioned year group of newly qualified trained teachers whose colleagues are in the service enjoying their salaries while they are sitting aloof in the house.

In a short notice from the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana to this 2018/2019 backlog of newly trained teachers and cited by the educegh.com team, all those who completed their Colleges of Education in 2018/2019 but didn’t get their posting should check their phones for SMS alert from GES.

TTAG also encourages their members who are part of this special appointment to visit their Regional Education Offices to check for their appointment letters.

“Be informed that backlog of trained teachers for the year 2018/2019 has been released to the various regions. Kindly check your phone for the alert.” TTAG said.

Background
The majority of trained teachers who have completed Colleges of Education failed to be part of the Ghana Education Service automatic posting due to outstanding referrals they might have with their Colleges or not passing the compulsory National Teaching Council (NTC) licensure Examination that is conducted for newly trained teachers after their final papers in Colleges of Education.
