Junior High schools teachers in some regions in the country have been asked by their Education Directors to submit their school’s stamps to the Education offices for the distribution of laptops

From a reliable source, the Educegh media team has intercepted an announcement from one of the teacher’s platforms where all teachers in some particular circuit have been asked to immediately submit their school’s stamps to the Education offices for their one teacher one laptop.

The information reads “all JHS headteachers in Akontombra, Essase, and Bronikrom circuit should come to the office with their school stamps to sign their staff list for the distribution of laptops. It is immediate, very urgent. Thanks” the message read.

The school’s stamps will be used to authenticate the school list for the distribution of laptops to all teachers within the circuit.

Meanwhile, all public junior high schools are on vacation but the district is asking all the teachers to report to the district office regardless of where they are.

It looks as if the management of the Ghana Education Service is under pressure to distribute the laptops to teachers since most teachers complained about the illegal deduction that was done on their November 2021 salary for the laptops meanwhile the majority of these teachers have not even seen the laptops they are paying for.

The management of the Ghana Education Service recently released a press statement indicating that the majority of the teachers in the senior high schools have received their laptops and hopefully by 17th December 2021 they would have completed the distribution at the senior high school.
