Basic school’s new vacation date, 2022/2023 reopening dates confirmed – GES
The management of the Ghana Education Service has officially released a letter indicating that the vacation dates of all public basic schools in the country have been shifted from 15th December 2022 to Friday 16th December 2022.
According to the management of the Ghana Education Service due to circumstances beyond their control, all public basic schools heads and teachers have to comply with this new directive.
Management also indicated that this new directive will help all basic 4 pupils across all basic schools in the country to conduct their National Standardized Test (NST).
Management of the Ghana Education Service further noted that all basic schools will resume school on the 10th of January 2023. “The re-opening date for next academic year is 10th January 2023.” The letter stated.
This is contained in a letter signed by Mrs. Patty E. Assan Director of the School and Instruction Division at the Ghana Education Service.
