DDQMT expressed worry over the delay in payment of the remaining 2021 PHC allowance

The District Data Quality Management Team across the country has expressed worried about GSS delay in payment of Supervisors and Field officers who took part in the 2021 Population and Housing census their remaining 70% lumpsum of allowance.

According to GSS, they have to commence payment of 70% lump sum to the person who has met all the conditions and services of the contract.

GSS further explained that payment has been scheduled, any supervisory Area (SA) that is cleared at the HQ, list of names of the field officers will be submitted to the GSS for verification and confirmation of the returnable materials from the filed officers for payment.

An SA may be cleared but if return materials are not submitted, payment may be delayed. Field officers in the Ahafo Region have started receiving their allowance and GSS has assured that the payment process will continue till all field officers received their remaining 70% lump sum allowance.
