Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced a 5-days semester for all form three students of senior high schools in the country to go on semester break. This is to allow the students and their teachers to refresh their memories as they will be coming back to write their WASSCE examination.
Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all Heads of Senior High Schools that all form 3 students are permitted to go on Mid Semester break from Tuesday, July 20 to Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Academic work should resume on Monday, July 26, 2021. Students who do not wish to go home or find it difficult to go home should be allowed to remain in the school and Heads are to ensure that they are fed and follow all school rules.
By this letter, Regional Directors of Education are to inform all Heads of Senior High Schools to take note and to communicate same to staff, students and parents.
