The management of the Ghana Education Service has officially approved the organization of compulsory training workshops for teachers in some regions in the country.
A letter signed by the Volta Regional Director of education has officially permitted the GIM School and Education Consultancy to organize a training workshop on Educational policy and Legal framework.
According to the Volta Regional Director of Education Ms. Enyonam Afi Amafuga all professional teachers are expected to pay an amount of GH¢70.00 to their head of institutions as a registration fee for the workshop.
Ms. Enyonam said this training workshop is of benefit to the teachers because all teachers will be awarded a certificate for attending, launch, course materials, and post-training assessment tests.
This workshop is organized for three District which includes the Kpando district, North Tongu, and South Tongu district. Those eligible for the workshop are for all professional teachers in the teaching service.
All teachers in the aforementioned district are to come along with their professional certificate, social security and National Insurance Number, passport picture, and an active email account.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on 30th November 2021 at Sogakope senior high school conference hall, 1st December 2021 at Volo senior high school assembly hall, and 2nd December 2021 at Kpando senior high school.
