GNACOPS announced organizing intensive leadership education for private school owners.

Ghana National counsel of private school teachers is organizing a month-long intensive program for private school owners and managers in Ghana seeking leadership and management skills.

A statement from the Ghana National Council of private school teachers indicates that the professional course for pre-tertiary private education will start from Monday, 15th March to 1st April 2021 which will be held at Atomic energy commission, university of Nuclear Energy.

Our source has confirmed from the National Executives director of private schools council Mr. Enoch Gyetauh stating clearly that the professional course registration will start from Monday 15th March 2021 and ends on 31st March 2021.

According to Mr. Enoch, interested applicants are to pay a flat amount of Gh¢750.00 for the whole professional course which will be organized in the evening time from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Every week they use 6hour for intensive training.

The professional training course for private school owners comes after NTC certified service providers have realized that private school education needs proper housing cleaning and serious interventions to help curb the growing challenges that the sector is facing.

Mr. Enoch speaking on behalf of him indicated that after the professional course private schools owners will be equipped with how to establish a well defined private school that will be gear towards child development, holistic education promotion, and understanding of private schools operations

“The leadership education course is to restore and bring the private sector education to the light for public recognition, free from intimidations and seek support for quality-assured education delivery,” Mr E. Gyetuah stated.

“GNACOPS is doing this because most institutions responsible to educate these owners have rather dwelled on their ignorance to extort a huge sum of money from them in view of helping them to register or meet standards.

They sometimes put them through some oblique way so that these innocent School owners would not find their way out

We are at the stage of implementing well defined private educational framework to project and achieve private education outcome in Ghana for national education development goal,” he said
