Gnacops in collaboration with UNICEF, plan Ghana and the ministry of Education donated items to Schools- Gnacops

The Ghana National Council of private schools(GNACOPS)  in collaboration with the United Nations International Children’s emergency fund (UNICEF), Plan Ghana, and pre-tertiary directorate at the ministry of education has donated my first-day at school materials to Peki private school operators in the South Dayi district of the Volta region.

These items include books and other teaching and learning materials. This is to support low-fee private schools in the region to able to welcome back their children to school due to the long stay of children at home as a result of the pandemic. The move is to motivate children to come back to school in the district.

Gnacops stated that it is the duty of the council to come to aid or support all private schools most importantly the 70% of third-tier schools that provide a very vital role in the education delivery in the country. This is to strengthen the foundation of the private schools that were almost collapsed during the pandemic.

Gnacops also recognize all the organizations and institutions that supported them with the materials, pre-tertiary directorate at the ministry of education, United Nations International Children’s emergency fund (UNICEF), and plan Ghana are among those organizations and institutions that supported them.
