The management of the Mi-life Insurance company has officially hinted to members of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) about their plan to implement the inflation adjustor in the February 2022 salary window.
The insurance institution stated that “In line with the welfare benefits under the GNAT Heritage Cashback Plan for members of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the implementation of the annual inflation adjustor was supposed to take effect in January 2022 for all members on the plan, changing the monthly deduction from GH¢39.93 to GH¢43.92 per member of the scheme. However, the deduction for the new amount failed”
According to Mi-life Insurance company, the annual inflation adjustor which was supposed to be taken effect in early 2022 has failed and hence the need for its implementation.
A letter sighted by the Educegh.com team, however, noted that the increasing amount of GH¢43.92 for each members contribution will take effect in the February 2022 salary window with outrageous benefits of GH¢26,709.38
