It is my wish that Gov’t will find something for them – NLC on teachers COLA

The National Labour Commission NLC is leading stakeholders meetings between the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, the ministry of Education, the ministry of finance, and the teacher unions in Education over COLA.

Mr. Fosu Asamoah speaking to the media said the NLC is there to ensure there is a finality to any Labour conflict in the public service.

According to the Executive secretary of NLC, he is optimistic that due to the broader stakeholders that are involved in this meeting an amicable solution could easily be reached. “It is my wish that government will find something for them”. He added.

The executive secretary of NLC said whoever was dishonest in the earlier meetings should be honest this time and whoever was aggressive in the earlier meetings should be calm this time.
