By | February 22, 2021

It has come to the notice of management that some students or groups of students of the University of Education, Winneba continue to breach the directives of the President of the Republic of Ghana on the COVID-19 safety management protocols by engaging in all kinds of unapproved socialization activities such as organizing keep-fit sessions at the beach in blatant disregard for the COVID-19 safety management measures.

It is most unfortunate that contrary to expectations that University students would observe the safety protocols without any form of threat or caution, they appear to be taking the pandemic lightly.

Management hereby warns all students to desist from:

1.Organising keep-fit sessions at the beach;
2.Organising any form of group activities on and off-campus without permission from University Management; and
3.Flouting the COVID-19 safety management protocols
Any student or groups of students found breaking any of the COVID-19 safety management protocols or measures, will face the full rigors of the law.

It should be noted that COVID-19 spreads mainly amongst people who are in close contact. Students are, therefore, advised, in their own interest, to adhere to all COVID-19 safety management protocols of measures as spelt out by the President of the Republic of Ghana, the Ministry of Health, and the Directorate of Health Services, University of Education, Winneba.
