On the school portal, a user account has been created for all teachers and students in the school.
The teacher account on the portal allows teachers to access the academic timetable and the list of classes they teach. Teachers can enter students’ exam marks on the portal.
Students account allows students to view and print semester report, academic transcripts, and access electronic textbooks. Students can participate in online education through the Android app.
The Student Information System (SIS) will serve as a centralized database for all the Senior High Schools in the country, the database is hosted by the Free Senior High School Secretariat. There are plans by Ghana Education Service to link the students’ information system to WAEC database to enable them access student’s continuous assessment. The student’s information system (SIS) will be made available for universities in the country and the foreign universities to access students’ academic transcripts. Foreign universities have been requesting for transcripts from Senior High School graduates who apply to study in abroad, transcripts from the student information system will be considered as a genuine authentic document.
