The Ministry of Education has disclosed that the management of the ministry has officially sent a letter to the ministry of finance requesting financial clearance to recruit graduate teachers from tertiary institutions into the Ghana Education Service for the 2022 academic year.
A close source from the staff of the Ministry of Education has officially disclosed that the minister of Education Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has signed and submitted a letter for clearance to the finance minister last week for consideration and approval.
This comes weeks after the Minister of Education made it known to the public after the release of the Newly qualified trained teachers posting the last year 2021 that his outfit will work hard to ensure that graduates from the Universities with Education backgrounds will be recruited into the Ghana Education Service.
Once this clearance is approved by the Ministry of finance, the management of the Ghana Education Service will then open the portal for all prospective graduates who qualify to be employed by the Ghana Education Service to apply.
For one to apply for Ghana Education Service recruitment, there are some requirements one must meet before applying. Below are the requirements for GES recruitment in 2022.
To be qualified for 2022 GES recruitment, one must
🔘Completed any accredited tertiary institution in Ghana with an Education background and without any outstanding referral
🔘Passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination
🔘Completed the mandatory National Service
🔘Read to work anywhere in the country where your services are needed.
