The National coordinator of the Ghana school feeding program Gertrude Quashigah has been sacked from her position.
A letter from the Ministry of Gender, Children and social protection to her sighted by Educegh.com, asked her to return any property in her possession to the chief director of the ministry.
Reading through the letter dated 18th May 2021 to her no reason was given for her removal from the position.
The letter only expresses gratitude to her for the support in executing the duties of the Ghana school feeding program.
On 24th December 2019 madam, Gertrude Quashigah officially took over from her predecessor Dr. Kwame Adu-Nsiah who was also removed from his position.
In December 2018, Dr. Kwame Adu-Nsiah was sacked from the Ghana school feeding program on matters relating to corruption with the program.
A committee was set by the president to investigate the matter which later exonerated Dr. Kwame Adu-Nsiah of any wrong doing.
