NTC issue date and venue for the 4th Cohort training of CCP and SBA of GNACOPS members.

The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), in collaboration with the Pre-Tertiary Directorate (MoE) through the support of National Teaching Council (NTC) and National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), is organizing *3-DAY Training on the Common Core Programme (CCP) and 3-DAY workshop on standards-Based Curriculum for JHS1 – SHS1 Teachers, and all newly recruited KG AND PRIMARY teachers in all Private Schools across the country respectively.
All schools have to ask their staff to pre-register through this NTC link;
The said training for the private school teachers is going to take place at Labone senior high school, Labone Atomic energy commission, Kwabenya and cultural center, Kumasi.

In order for a private school teacher to attend the training and for GNACOPS to know the number of teachers registered for a particular centre, so that resources can be allocated appropriately, kindly fill this Google form as well.
3-Day Training Cost: CCP (JHS/SHS), Single Participant Ghc130, Two or more – Ghc100 per head.
3-Day training cost for SBC for kg and primary: single participant 75gh, two or more 50gh per head.
NTC will be issuing ID cards and certificate to participants and the cost for each is 20gh.

Certification GNACOPS and NTC will jointly issue Certificate and ID Card to participants at the cost of Ghc20 each.These will serve as the basic certification for CPDs and also earns you some score points that will be awarded by NTC for your Initial license.

4th Cohort SBC/CCP Training
Date: Friday, 19th – Sunday 21st February 2021.
Friday- 12:00 noon.
Saturday- 7:00am.
Sunday- 7:00 am.


  1. A4 sheet (1 ream for the teachers per school)
  2. Pens and pencils, and stick notes
  3. Flip chart or Manilla Card.
    The materials will be used to teach the teachers certain lesson activities.
    Labone Senior High School, Labone Junction – Accra
    Graduate School of Nuclear and Applied Sciences,* Atomic – Accra
    kumasi Cultural centre, kejetia, kumasi.
    All schools within these catchment areas, should kindly register their staff to participate in this IMPORTANT training.
