Most teachers who wrote the 2021 Promotion examination and were successful have complained about the delay of management of Ghana Education Service in putting on the right scale.

Those who have been successfully put on the scale have also complained that arrears were paid to just a few teachers that were promoted in September 2021. They have complained about the failure of the Ghana Education Service to realize that teachers deserve better treatment and that they need to be promoted to the rightful scale.

With all this maltreatment teachers are going through their union leaders are not showing concern for the welfare of their members. This has made the majority of the teachers accuse their union leaders of only concentrating on the deduction of members’ dues but can’t do anything to fight for their welfare.

Educegh.com checks have revealed that a handful of 5,000 of the Ghana Education Service will be promoted this November 2021. Management has communicated to the regional directors of education to inform their teachers in their various jurisdiction that the majority of them will be promoted when the next payroll window open from 27th October – 3rd November 2021.

According to the source, this 5,000 staff consists of both teaching and non-teaching staff of the Ghana Education Service who are going for the upper Promotion.

Most of them are asking the management of Ghana Education Service to do the needful by Promoting them to the next level.
