The management of the National Teaching Council has warned teachers to stay away from fraudsters workshops by some unaccredited service providers of the teaching council which demand teachers to pay monies
The National Teaching Council has come across a social media circulation calling teachers of Offinso Municipal to a mandatory NTC workshop scheduled for Tuesday 9th August and Wednesday 10th August 2022, demanding participants pay an amount of GHC 40.

The Council hereby informs teachers at Offinso Municipal that NTC has neither approved of the said workshop nor the said allotted 8 CPD points. Teachers must be cautious in the exercise of their discretion regarding the said workshop.
The National Teaching Council is therefore encouraging teachers to work hand in hand with the Teaching Council to eliminate fraudsters from the system.
If so how do we know or identify a real NTC workshop been organized by NTC itself.
How will I know that is a fraudster when directive is from education directory informing teachers about the workshop?
In western North, teachers are also paying 75cedis for workshop…..what can be said about that also…
We thank you very much for this information. We’ve heard and kept what you said. Initially we’re responding to every NTC workshop in order to score more points.
It’s more ongoing at Sefwi Wiawso municipal than any other place in Ghana. Least payment for workshop to gain CPD points here is Ghc70
If that has been the case teachers are happy
