The students’ load trust fund (SLTF), a government agency in Ghana that gives moderate and affordable loan to students in tertiary schools in Ghana, has raised concerns about the attitude of some officials who pretend to be workers of fund extorting monies from the students who seek financial assistance from the students’ loan trust fund to further their education.

The students’ loan trust fund (SLTF), wishes to inform all their beneficiaries that, no fees are charged by the students’ loan trust fund for the processing of any loan applications. So, it encourages students not to pay any money to any agent that pretend to be a worker of students’ loan trust to process their loan forms.

It however advises applicants to only deal with the officials of the fund and at no point should they be required by anybody in the trust fund to pay money before their loan application form is processed. Students should be careful not to allow anybody to cheat him or her by taking money from them.

The fund however advises students to visit the students’ loan trust fund website (www.sltf.gov.gh) for a more list of all official phone numbers, including their zonal offices across the country for more inquiries about the status of their loan.

Students are advised to call the following numbers 0302231886 or 0302231887 for more information about their loans or report any issues of extortion by any official of the fund.
