Teachers frustrated over NTC portfolio Assessment

By | September 19, 2021

The management of the National Teaching Council NTC has officially organized a portfolio Assessment for Newly trained teachers who are to enter into the teaching profession, yesterday the 18th of September 2021.

This orientation was organized online through zoom meetings to accommodate over 1,500 newly trained teachers on the said topic portfolio Assessment.

meanwhile, management of the NTC failed to notice that zoom can only accommodate only 100 participants. Now the remaining Students who are more than 1000 are left frustrated and don’t even know what to do.

Last year similar issue happened where management of the National Teaching Council came out with a notice that they have trained National and Regional portfolio Assessment Officers who go round to trained newly trained teachers on portfolio Assessment but till date, a lot of the Newly trained teachers are in the system the don’t even know what the portfolio Assessment is talking about.

NTC ought to get serious about some of their activities, it seems they are only serious about money-making activities like the licensing of Teachers to the detriment of other major activities that could benefit the Teachers.
