The management of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has disclosed that the Negotiation on the 2023 minimum wage technical Committee met last Tuesday 23rd August 2022.
According to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT, Mr. Prosper Takyie, the Technical Committee will submit their report to the tripartite Committee hopefully next week.
The Regional GNAT Chairman indicated that although the percentage isn’t out yet the leadership of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) is ready to stand against any percentage below average.
Mr. Takyie further noted that validators have confirmed the payment of Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA) which will expire on December 2022 and hence the need for the negotiation of the 2023 minimum wage
